STANISLAVA MOSTOVIČ
During the German occupation, Stanislava Mostovič rescued Hesia Lešč, whom she knew before the war. In September 1941, Mostovič's mother brought Hesia Lešč to their home in Senieji Trakai. The woman, called "Zosia" by the rescuers, lived with Stanislava Mostovič and her mother until the end of the war. Later, when Hesia Lešč emigrated to Israel, the women kept in touch through correspondence.
In 1999, Stanislava Mostovic was awarded the Life Saviour‘s Cross.
