Šilalė's primary school pupils and their teachers. Edmundas' brother Mausha (first line, 3-rd from the right, was killed after the war) and sister Liba (second line, 5-th from the right). On 7 July, 1941 men and youth were herded and shut into the synagogue and were killed the following day at the Jewish cemetery. The women with their children were killed in the Tūbinės forest in August, 1941
