Jonas JANULAITIS
Jonas Janulaitis, residing in Daukantiškiai village, Gelgaudiškis district, Šakiai county, hid two women and a little girl. In March 1944, police came. The women, the girl and Jonas Janulaitis were arrested. At first Jonas Janulaitis was jailed in Marijampolė prison, later taken to Kaunas and then to the constructions of the airport in Kėdainiai. He escaped from the airport and returned home in 1944.
