Rescuers of Jews
Andriuškevičienė Joana
Chaya Antupicki testifies:
Me, Chaya Antupicki (Volbe), confirm that in July 1944 me, together with my father Chaim Volbe and my brother Simon Volbe, were rescued from death. The last day of our job in "Lape" plant we knew that we wouldn't be allowed to go to work anymore (the ghetto liquidation has been started already).
We've survived only thanks to the help received from Petras and Joana Andriuškevičius and their daughter Eugenija.
Now I with my family live in Israel, my brother Simon also lives in Israel.
