Zavel Fridman (1931–1944) during the pogrom in Vilijampole on 26 June 1941 escaped out the window and managed to live 3 more years in the ghetto. During the liquidation of the ghetto Zavel was deported to the concentration camp, at first to Auschwitz, then Dachau and perished there.
His father Itzik Fridman and mother Chaja Yentel Fridman (nee Veber), sister Bela (1925-1941) and brother Arie (1927-1941) were murdered on 26 June 1941 during the pogrom in Vilijampole.
