Liquidation of the Šiauliai Ghetto.
15 July 1944, the liquidation of the Šiauliai Ghetto began. About 7,000 Šiauliai Jews as well as Jews brought to the Šiauliai Ghetto from Vilnius, Kaunas and Smurgainys labour camps were transported to Stutthof concentration camp in four stages. From there, men were taken to Dachau concentration camp, while women and children were taken to Auschwitz.
