Natalija FUGALEVIČIŪTĖ (1905–1985)
Natalija was born in the family of a surveyor in Kaunas. Before the war, she studied the art of designing in Paris and after returning to Lithuania worked in various garment factories in Kaunas. During the war, she was engaged in active humanitarian movement – saving persecuted Jews – with her friend Natalija Jegorova-Melioranskaja and her sister Lidija Fugalevičiūtė-Golubovienė. After the war, she graduated from Kaunas Art Institute. From 1957 until retirement, she worked in Vilnius Designing House.
